MCLE Programs
The Straus Institute regularly offers professional education programs for MCLE credit on a full range of dispute resolution topics and advanced applications for mid-career attorneys, judges, and other professionals. One of the most popular of these programs is Mediating the Litigated Case, a six-day program offered in Malibu, West Los Angeles and Irvine, California, as well as in Washington, D.C. In addition, the Straus Institute offers the Professional Skills Program, a collection of simultaneous three-day training programs on various aspects of negotiation, mediation and arbitration. We offer programs in Malibu, California; Baltimore, Maryland; and Nashville, Tennessee.
Mandatory CLE Credits
Throughout the year the Straus Institute offers one or two-day conferences that will offer MCLE credit on a variety of subjects. Conferences in the past have included, Doping and the Culture of Sport; Negotiating, Mediating, and Managing Conflict; American Justice at a Crossroads; and Women in Hollywood. The Women's Negotiation Academy is an interactive workshop designed to present women with specific tools and techniques to increase their effectiveness as a negotiator.
