Jack Coe Appointed to Advisory Committee on Private International Law
Professor Jack Coe, Jr. has been appointed by the U.S. Department of State to its Advisory Committee on Private International Law. The Committee serves the State Department in an advisory capacity in relation to private international law issues arising or likely to arise in the work of international organizations and other bodies, or otherwise in the foreign relations of the United States. The Committee's appointees consist of academics and other members having private international law expertise who represent various private and public sectors. Among other methods, the Committee employs study groups to provide advice on specialized subjects of private international law. The Committee is typically chaired by the Legal Adviser of the State Department.
