Professor Michael Helfand Visiting Professorship at Yale Law School Religious Liberty Clinic

Professor Michael A. Helfand will serve as a visiting professor at Yale Law School in the Spring of 2020, where he will co-teach in Yale's recently established Religious Liberty Clinic. Professor Helfand's course - a seminar running alongside the clinic - will focus on the theory and development of free exercise doctrine. Professor Helfand was quoted in the The College Fix regarding the Religious Liberty Clinic:

The Yale religious liberty clinic will target "those whose constitutional and statutory rights are threatened," Michael Helfand, a visiting scholar from Pepperdine who is co-teaching the clinic, told The Fix in an email. "This is particularly true for vulnerable religious minorities who might not otherwise be able to secure this kind of legal assistance."
