28th Annual Southern California Mediation Association Conference -"Discourse & Diplomacy: From Interpersonal Conflict to International Relations"

December 6, 2016 -- Straus Institute cosponsored the 28th Annual Southern California Mediation Association Conference (SCMA) "Discourse & Diplomacy:  From Interpersonal Conflict to International Relations" on November 5, 2016.  The keynote speaker was Senator George Mitchell, former Majority Lead of the U.S. Senate and recipient of the 2016 Cloke-Millen Peacemaker of the Year Award.  The program featured 18 tracks that included a family collaborative and advanced track. There were 220 people who attended the program, as well as 40 speakers.
