Current Student Represents Straus Institute at the Romanian Alianta Gala in Washington, D.C.

Carina Rosanna Tautu represented Straus Institute as one of the five Romanian-American students invited to participate in a two day forum of Alianta, a non-partisan alliance of American and Romanian organizations and professionals working to strengthen the cultural, economic, and security ties between the two countries. Carina's attendance was generously sponsored by Professor Emeritus at University of San Francisco, Allan Cruse.

Carina attended a round table on the peacemaking process and security in the Eastern European region. The discussions also included the Romanian participation in NATO as one of the closest allies of the US in the region. The discussions included the need for conflict management and leadership coaching of new business leaders. Mediation is a new field in the Balkan region and Carina was proud to discuss and share her acquired expertise in the MDR program at the Straus Institute.
