ICA 2020: THE NEW RESTATEMENT

The History and Future of the ALI Restatement on International Commercial and Investor-State Arbitration

 Overview

In conjunction with the American Law Institute (ALI), the Institute for Transnational Arbitration (ITA), and the Straus Institute, the annual Dispute Resolution Law Journal Symposium will engage in a comprehensive discussion of the recent Restatement, outlining the history of the twelve-year project and considering the future uses of the Restatement. 

This two-day event begins on Thursday, February 27 at 4 pm with a discussion and networking reception, hosted by Young ITA, Mayer Brown LLP, and Flores Rueda Abogados. On Friday, February 28, the event continues with a day-long conference, featuring a lunch ALI Reporters' Roundtable and an evening reception.
