About the Gateway to Straus Online Program

The Gateway to Straus Program is designed to introduce participants to foundations of laws, legal practice, and alternative dispute resolution (ADR) techniques in the United States. Students and professionals will strengthen their legal research and writing skills and be well-prepared to start their LLM education, at Straus or at other institutions. This program also offers judges and attorneys broad knowledge of key subject areas and procedural strategies they may employ in their practice or research. 

 

Program Dates:  May 24 - 28, 2021

This is a one-week, non-academic enrichment program that will be offered ONLINE from May 24-28, 2021. Classes will take place for five consecutive days, in the following hours: MON-FRI from 7 AM Pacific Daylight Time (PDT) to 10 AM PDT; with three additional Legal English classes on the afternoons of TUE-WED-THU, from 2 PM to 4 PM PDT, for a total of 20 hours of instruction. Participants will receive instruction by distinguished faculty from the Straus Institute and Pepperdine Caruso School of Law.

The cost of the program is $249 USD.
