About the Gateway to Straus Online Program
The Gateway to Straus Program is designed to introduce participants to foundations of laws, legal practice, and alternative dispute resolution (ADR) techniques in the United States. Students and professionals will strengthen their legal research and writing skills and be well-prepared to start their LLM education, at Straus or at other institutions. This program also offers judges and attorneys broad knowledge of key subject areas and procedural strategies they may employ in their practice or research.
Program Dates: June 15 - 19, 2020
This is a one-week, non-academic enrichment program that will be offered ONLINE from June 15-19, 2020 (7 AM - 10 AM PDT). Classes will take place for three hours per day, for five consecutive days. Thus, participants will receive 15 hours of instruction by distinguished faculty from the Straus Institute and Pepperdine Caruso School of Law.
