Now Offering the FDI Moot Competition Scholarship

Pepperdine University School of Law has partnered with the Foreign Direct Investment International Arbitration Moot Competition to offer a $24,000 half-tuition scholarship for participants of the 2016 moot competition in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

The FDI Competition is an international competition for law students from around the world.  This year's competition met November 2016 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Eligibility:

All participants of the 2016 FDI Competition in Buenos Aires, Argentina will be invited to apply for this prestigious scholarship, and must be eligible to start in Fall 2017.

The following academic programs are eligible for the FDI Moot Competition scholarship:

  • LLM in Dispute Resolution
  • LLM in International Commercial Arbitration (ICA)
  • LLM in International Commercial Law and Arbitration (ICLA)
  • LLM in International Commercial Law and Dispute Resolution (ICLDR)
  • LLM in US Law and Dispute Resolution (USLDR)

 

Application Process:

Eligible participants will be asked to submit an application for one of the Master of Law (LLM) programs in the field of dispute resolution, and be required to write an additional two page statement outlining why they should be selected for the FDI Scholarship.  Instructions on the application process for the LLM program can be found on the LLM Admissions website.  Applicants are encouraged to apply online via LSAC.  The FDI Scholarship statement can be emailed to Pepperdine directly to the address below by March 3, 2017.
