Pepperdine Caruso School of Law Location - Straus Institute

In an effort to provide courses that meet the needs of professional students, the Straus Institute offers academic courses in a variety of formats at the Malibu campus and locations across the globe.

Malibu Campus

The Malibu campus offers courses in the traditional 15-week format, in addition to two weekend courses during the Fall and the Spring. During the summer, courses are only offered in a one-week and two-weekend format.

These intensive course formats provide students with an opportunity to complete the program on a part-time basis and attracts commuting students from a variety of locations including Texas, New Jersey, Tennessee, Alaska, Hawaii, Utah, Alabama, South Carolina, North Carolina and Arizona.

The Straus Institute training and conference programs are offered in Malibu, as well as other locations, including the Pepperdine University Irvine Graduate Campus.

Heidelberg, Germany

The Pepperdine-Heidelberg Collaborative

Starting Spring 2015, students can take up to 8 credit points at Heidelberg University Law School and earn an LLM from Pepperdine with only one semester of residence in Malibu, California.

Malibu Housing and Residence Life Information

The George Page Residential Complex, located across the street from the Caruso School of Law, is available to a limited number of summer school students. The residential complex offers four-bedroom, single-bath apartments with kitchen, living, and dining areas. The housing is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Early reservation is advised. On-campus recreation facilities include an Olympic-size pool, tennis courts, weight room, gym, and track.
