"Slacklining attorney": Vision Winter (JD '04) featured in Daily Journal

January 13, 2017 | By Kylie Larkin -- Pepperdine Law alumnus Vision Winter (JD '04) is featured in a front page story in the Los Angeles Daily Journal titled "Slacklining attorney keeps balance in court and out." The article discusses Winter's skill at slacklining, a sport in which he walks across a two-inch long piece of tense nylon fabric suspended between two posts. Winter is a partner at O'Melveny & Myers.

Excerpt from the Daily Journal:

It's a good full-body workout, Winter said, particularly for core muscles like the abs. But he feels the most important strength the activity helps build is a sense of balance.

"You really have to put everything else off your mind and really focus. When I'm slacklining, I'm really just focusing on the two trees, and getting to that tree in front of me, Winter said. "Your mind really can't wander."
