Southern California Chinese Lawyers Association 2018 Scholarship
Due: April 27, 2018 | The Southern California Chinese Lawyers Association ("SCCLA") annually awards several $1,000 Scholarships and $2,000 Fellowships to local Asian Pacific American law students.
SCCLA Scholarships are awarded based on need, academic accomplishments, and/or potential
contribution to the Chinese-American community. Law students at all levels are encouraged
to apply. There is no clerkship requirement for Scholarships. Scholarship recipients
must attend SCCLA's Installation & Awards Banquet on Friday, May 25, 2018 at the Westin
Bonaventure Hotel, Los Angeles in order to receive their awards.

SCCLA Fellowships fund a clerkship at Asian Americans Advancing Justice | Los Angeles
("AAAJ-LA") during the upcoming Fall, Spring, and Summer school sessions. Receipt
of Fellowship funds is conditioned upon serving as a clerk at AAAJ-LA for a minimum
of 15 hours per week for 10 weeks. Those selected for the Fellowships will be recognized
at the Banquet but will be awarded the fellowship title and funds at the following
year's Banquet only upon successful
