Professor Trey Childress Participates in Meeting of US State Department Advisory Committee on Private International Law
On April 24, Professor Donald Earl "Trey" Childress participated in a meeting of the US State Department’s Advisory Committee on Private International Law. The committee, which advises the State Department on the practice of private international law, is composed of leading practitioners and scholars in the field. Among other matters, the committee discussed the negotiation of multilateral instruments in the field of international arbitration and litigation and the treaty practice of the United States.
Professor Childress also serves on the U.S. State Department’s Advisory Committee on International Law, which advises the State Department on the practice of public international law.
