Professor Maureen Weston Presents Keynote Address at Brazil Football Confederation

December 13, 2018 | Professor Maureen Weston presented a keynote address at the Brazil Football Confederation, the Confederação Brasileira de Futebol (CBF Academy), on the topic of "USA Sports Jurisdictions: Structure, Governance, Disputes, and Dispute Resolution" in Rio de Janerio, Brazil, on November 24.  CBF is the governing body for football (soccer) in Brazil.  The CBF Academy's mission is to "contribute in a relevant way in the updating of professionals working in the area of Law with a focus on football."  Professor Weston was the first international and only woman speaker at the CBF Academy's Law and Futebol conference.
