Professor Kris Knaplund to Present "Women and Wills: An Empirical Analysis of the Married Women's Property Act -- ABA Webinar

Professor Kristine S. Knaplund will present "Women and Wills: An Empirical Analysis of the Married Women's Property Act and Its Remarkable Resonance Today" for the ABA Professor's Corner Webinar. Professor Knaplund will discuss her research on all 805 probate files in St. Louis in the year 1900, shortly after married women were allowed to will away their property, to see whether their wills were different from men's. (Spoiler alert: They were!). The webinar, presented by the ABA Real Property, Trusts, and Estates Section, will take place on August 13.
