Professor Helen Winter Interviewed on Bias Reduction and Peer Mediation for Edwards Mediation Academy

Professor Helen Winter participated in the "Hot Talks in Mediation" webinar for the Edwards Mediation Academy Online. The webinar is part of the International Mediation Training Course for Ukrainians. Mediator Bruce Edwards interviewed Professor Winter, who talked about her research in bias and bias reduction strategies. She also discussed starting the innovative peer mediation program in Germany, R3SOLUTE, which empowers refugees and locals to manage and prevent community conflicts through dialogue and peer mediation.

Over 50 Ukrainians, many of whom were lawyers, attended the webinar to learn how to set up a peer mediation program themselves in the hope of setting up conflict resolution mechanisms in their country in the near future.
