Pepperdine Law ranked #5 for Practical Training by The National Jurist

March 14, 2017 | By Alexa Brown— Pepperdine Law has been ranked #5 in "Best Schools for Practical Training" by the National Jurist Magazine, Spring 2017 issue. Rankings were based on experiential learning opportunities, including clinics, externships, simulation courses, and interschool competitions.

Pepperdine Law's Director of Clinical Education, Jeff Baker, remarked on Pepperdine Law's practical training, "At Pepperdine we are committed to ensuring that every student practices law under supervision before they graduate. We train students to think like lawyers, but we also want students to know what it is to be a lawyer, to feel the weight, pressure, and exhilaration of serving a client. Pepperdine students practice law by doing some of the best work of their lives for clients and communities in great need."
