February 13, 2017 | by Kylie Larkin -- Pepperdine Law's moot court program has been ranked number 15 of the top 20 "Best moot court programs of this decade" by National Jurist magazine. According to the article "Best schools for moot court," the University of Houston Law Center's Blakely Advocacy Institute identifies the top schools using a scoring method that assesses the quality of the competitions a school participated in, the size of the competitions, and the school's performance. The institute then invites the top 16 schools from the prior year to participate in the Andrews Kurth Moot Court National Championship, which began tracking schools seven years ago.
