Pepperdine Caruso Law Moot Court Teams Advance at Thurgood Marshall Memorial Moot Court Competition

The Pepperdine Caruso Law Moot Court teams of Kate Popick and Brandon Posivak, and Phillip Avellato and Sophie Nelson advanced at the Thurgood Marshall Memorial Moot Court Competition.  Both teams advanced to the Sweet Sixteen round, and Allevato and Nelson were quarterfinalists.

The competition is one of the premier moot court competitions in the country. All of the judges in the competition are actual judges, practitioners, or scholars. The competition was hosted by the Federal Bar Association in Washington, DC, and held in-person on March 22-23.
