Pepperdine Dispute Resolution Law Journal Announces Publication of Volume XXIV
The Pepperdine Dispute Resolution Law Journal (DRLJ) is pleased to announce its publication of Volume XXIV. Included in Volume XXIV are works by DRLJ’s Reeve Lanigan, Doyeon Kim, Abigail Davis, Ellie Martinez, and Whitney Heuermann.
Additionally, Volume XXIV features articles from the fall 2023 DRLJ symposium hosted by the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution and the Weinstein International Foundation. The symposium, titled “The Tactics or Resolution: Exploring International Innovation in Law Enforcement and Conflict Resolution,” explored how elements of dispute resolution can apply to community policing stratgeies to prevent and de-escalate crime.
To commemorate the symposium’s inspiring discussions, Volume XXIV includes works from Weinstein International Fellow Dr. Wendell Wallace from Trinidad and Tobago, as well as Straus adjunct professor Shaphan Roberts.
DRLJ thanks the members of its Volume XXIV student editorial board for their exceptional service to the journal this past year and is excited to begin a new chapter this fall with Volume XXV.
