Pepperdine Caruso Law Trial Teams Compete in American Association for Justice National Trial Competition and San Fernando Valley Bar Association Trial Competition

The Pepperdine Caruso Law trial teams successfully competed over the weekend of April 5th-7th, competing in one national competition in Chicago, Illinois, and in a local competition in the San Fernando Valley.

The trial team advocates Stephanie Nagler, Dylan Garrison, Amulya Maddali, and Julianne Carter competed at the American Association for Justice Student Trial Advocacy National Competition after winning the Pacific Regionals. The team made an impressive showing at the national event and were praised for their courtroom presence, excellent witnessing, and strategic use of exhibits.

Caruso Law also sent two teams to the San Fernando Valley Bar Association Trial Competition, one consisting of advocates Emily Fukuda, Jarrod Houseknecht, Sarah Alexander, and Jordan Washington, and a second team with advocates Tyler Jensen, Zoie Stanton, Vanessa Mercado, and Susanna Behnam. Both teams displayed excellent trial advocacy skills while representing both the plaintiff and defense sides of a complex employment termination case involving an unhoused employee.

The Trial Advocacy Board congratulates all the Caruso Law trial team members for their superb trial advocacy.
