Pepperdine Caruso Law Trial Team Wins First and Second Place at San Fernando Valley Bar Association Trial Competition

The Pepperdine Caruso Law Trial Team dominated the San Fernando Valley Bar Association Trial Competition held on April 7-8 by taking both first and second place overall.

In the final round of the competition, Caruso Law advocates Dillon Garcia, Mason Folse, Max Lyster, and Neil Edat prevailed over Caruso Law advocates Lauren Carrasco, Michael Elterman, Grace Whitten, and Aryan Ahmadian in a well fought round of trial advocacy.

In addition to taking first and second in the tournament, Neil Edat won the Best Direct Examination Award, Grace Whitten won the Best Opening Statement Award, and Lauren Carrasco won the Best Cross-Examination Award.
