Pepperdine Caruso Law Trial Advocacy Students Compete in San Fernando Valley Bar Association's Inaugural Mock Trial Competition

Pepperdine Caruso Law's trial advocacy program completed a very successful year with another finalist finish in the San Fernando Valley Bar Association's Inaugural Mock Trial Competition. The competition took place remotely on April 9-10. Pepperdine Caruso Law competed with UCLA School of Law and UC Davis School of Law.

The four Caruso Law finalists were Rebecca Voth, Erin Weilbacher, Gabriella Castro, and Jonathan Zima. In addition, three students received individual awards: Erin Weilbacher for Best Cross Examination; Gabriella Castro for Best Opening Statement; and Jonathan Zima for Best Closing Argument. Congratulations to all who competed for excellence in advocacy.
