Summer Clerkship at Pepperdine Legal Aid Clinic
The Pepperdine Legal Aid Clinic will offer a part-time summer law clerk program, to
begin May 27, 2025. Student law clerks will gain hands-on experience as they provide
civil legal services to clients of Union Rescue Mission, Covenant House Youth Shelter,
and other local rehabilitation programs. Accepted students may choose to earn academic
credit, apply for the Public Interest Summer Fellowship, or volunteer. This clerkship
may be done as a stand-alone or may be combined with the Pepperdine Low Income Taxpayer
Clinic, summer school courses, or another part-time clerkship.
All interested 1L and 2L students are invited to submit a resume and cover letter to professor Brittany Stringfellow Otey by April 4, 2025 (brittany.stringfellow@pepperdine.edu).

The Pepperdine Low Income Taxpayer Clinic will offer a part-time summer law clerk
program, to begin May 19, 2025. Student law clerks will gain hands-on experience as
they represent clients in IRS controversies. Accepted students may choose to earn
academic credit, apply for the Public Interest Summer Fellowship, or volunteer. This
clerkship may be done as a stand-alone or may be combined with the Pepperdine Legal
Aid Clinic, summer school courses, or another part-time clerkship.
