Olympic and International Sports Law and Dispute Resolution London Study Tour | Register by April 14

Led by sports law professor Maureen Weston and international sports law attorney and arbitrator Jeff Benz, this unique 2 credit course offers an immersive exploration of the governance structures and legal processes that shape Olympic and international sports. 

Engage in practical lawyering simulations and gain firsthand insights from experts in international sports law.  Classroom sessions will be held at Pepperdine’s London campus, nestled in the posh and museum-rich area of South Kensington near Hyde Park.

Exclusive site visits and industry insights to prestigious global sports lawyers and institutions, may include a premier league football club stadium, NFL London, Sports Radar, Sports Resolution, British Horseracing Federation, International Tennis Integrity, discussions with the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) experts, and various sport federations across London. 

  • Learn the legal, governance, and regulatory framework for international sports.
  • Network with top international sports law professionals and industry experts.
  • Enhance your practical legal skills through simulations and real-world case studies
  • Earn 2 academic credits toward the Entertainment, Media & Sports (EMS) Law Certificate, and the Straus MDR or DR Certificate.   Financial aid available for summer school if students enroll in 3 units.   

Dates: Arrive in London by Saturday, May 24 | Depart May 31, 2025
Students must arrange their own flights and accommodations and register for Law2362.01
Activity Fee: $800 (covers London transport card, group tours/activities, and many meals)
