Pepperdine Caruso Law Student Bar Association Establishes Books on Loan Program

The Pepperdine Caruso Law Student Bar Association has established a new book donation and books on loan program. The SBA has collected over 100 textbooks and supplements from current students and recent alumni from the class of 2022.  These textbooks are then loaned out or given away free of charge by SBA to students who have financial hardship associated with purchasing their textbooks. So far, SBA has provided books to nearly 50 students-- over half of whom are 1Ls receiving one or more of their required textbooks for free.

At the end of the semester and depending on the specific book in question, the books can either be kept by recipients, returned to their previous owner, or placed back in the care of SBA to loan out again in future semesters.  The SBA hopes that this program will continue to grow and expand. The SBA has asked each of the recipients to consider loaning out or donating their used textbooks in upcoming semesters so that this program can benefit future generations of Caruso Law students as well.

For more information on how to participate or contribute to the books on loan program, please contact SBA President Mason Folse at mason.folse@pepperdine.edu
