Pepperdine Caruso Law Congratulates Francesca Pinto, Michael Pappas, Dajana Buzo, and Lilah Cook

Bell ringers Francesca Pinto, Michael Pappas, Dajana Buzo, Lilah Cook

Pepperdine Caruso Law is pleased to congratulate Francesca Pinto, Michael Pappas, Dajana Buzo, and Lilah Cook for post-graduate employment success!

Francesca Pinto will be working for the office of the general counsel at Pacific Gas & Electric as a post-graduate law clerk until she passes the bar exam.  Francesca previously worked in the energy sector before law school and knew she was interested in pursuing a career in environmental law.  Francesca began working for PG&E when she applied to their summer internship program as a first-year student, and was thrilled at the opportunity to continue working for PG&E during her second and third years. Most of her recent work has involved preparing and participating in administrative proceedings before the California Public Utilities Commission, which has been an incredible experience.  Francesca is looking forward to working alongside some of the most experienced and knowledgeable environmental law attorneys in the state of California, and is beyond grateful for their mentorship thus far.

Michael Pappas has accepted a post-graduate position as an associate at Molnar Atabek LLP once he passes the bar exam. He acquired the position through the Caruso Law Career Development Office's Fall Legal Interviewing Program.

Dajana Buzo will be joining Hanger, Steinberg, Shapiro & Ash in Woodland Hills after taking the bar exam. Career Development Office director Alexis Joyce suggested that Dajana apply for a law clerk position with the firm last spring and she has been working there since then. The firm consists mainly of Caruso Law alumni and Dajana is very excited to join them.

Lilah Cook will be a civil litigation associate (defense side) at Daniels, Fine, Israel, Schonbuch & Lebovits, LLP in Century City. Lilah applied to the position through LinkedIn and connected with  one of the partners who also attended her undergraduate alma mater, Penn State University. Lilah really enjoyed the entire interview process and accepted an offer from the firm in March.

Congratulations to Francesca, Michael, Dajana, and Lilah for their well-deserved positions!
