Celia Shan, Patrick Babajanian, Adam Manaa, Allison Berquist

Pepperdine Caruso Law is pleased to congratulate Celia Shan, Patrick Babajanian, Adam Manaa, and Allison Berquist for post-graduate employment success!

Celia Shan will be working as a law clerk at Olivarez Madruga Law Organization LLP.

Patrick Babajanian will be an associate attorney at Katchko, Vitiello & Karikomi, PC (KVK). Patrick started at KVK as a law clerk during his first-year summer in 2021, working primarily in the firm's cannabis practice area. In that role, he assisted with licensing, regulatory, and other transactional matters for California-based cannabis businesses, in addition to researching pending cannabis legislation at the state and federal levels. Patrick continued to work at KVK part-time during each semester of his second and third law years, continuing in cannabis while increasingly assisting other practice areas of the firm with litigation matters. Throughout his time at KVK, Patrick has valued learning from experts in their fields, spending time with wonderful co-workers, and diving into some of the most interesting and cutting-edge work in the legal field today.  After passing the bar exam, he will transition from being a full-time law clerk to an associate attorney.

Adam Manaa will be working as an associate attorney in the Los Angeles office of Freeman Mathis & Gary. He acquired the position through a posting on Caruso Law's job board

Allison Berquist will join A2Z, a special education law firm, as post bar clerk, and will be an associate attorney upon admission to the bar. A2Z advocates for students with disabilities in schools. Allison was a teacher for four years prior to law school and chose to attend Caruso Law after her experience working in special education during the pandemic. She is incredibly excited to use her law school education to continue to advocate for students with disabilities.

Congratulatulations to Celia, Patrick, Adam, and Allison for their well-earned positions!
