Pepperdine Caruso Law Congratulates August Mawn, Junajoy Frianeza, Abigail Davis, Kaitlin Street, and MacKenzie Savage

August Mawn, Junajoy Frianeza, Abigail Davis, Kaitlin Street, MacKenzie Savage

Pepperdine Caruso Law is pleased to congratulate August Mawn, Junajoy Frianeza, Abigail Davis, Kaitlin Street, and MacKenzie Savage for post-graduate employment success!

August Mawn will be working as a law clerk at Lagerlof, LLP, and then as an associate attorney upon passing the bar exam.  He will be working in trust administration and elder law practice at Lagerlof.  August received an offer of employment after working at Lagerlof as a summer associate intern in the summer of 2022.  He first found out about the internship opportunities at Lagerlof during an informational interview with one of the partners at the firm who works in estate planning.

Junajoy Frianeza will be joining the transactional team for Myers, Widders, Gibson, Jones & Feingold as an associate attorney.  She applied for the position through the Career Development Offices' Fall Legal Internship Program last semester and accepted the offer in October.  Since Junajoy is in the two-year accelerated JD program, she did not have the chance to work for the firm before accepting the offer, but she is happy she found a position as a transactional attorney after working in litigation the summer prior.

Abigail Davis will be working as an intensive deputy attorney general at the Indiana Attorney General's Office.

Kaitlin Street will be a post-bar law clerk and then associate attorney after passing the bar exam at the Keystone Law Group.

MacKenzie Savage will work as a post-bar law clerk at the Contra Costa District Attorney's Office and then transition to a deputy district attorney once she passes the bar. In the summer of 2021, MacKenzie's Career Development Office advisor Alexis Joyce emailed her about a second-year summer law clerk position at the Contra Costa District Attorney's, so she applied and was accepted. After working there for the summer of 2022, where she conducted preliminary hearings, motion hearings, and a jury trial, MacKenzie was offered the post-bar law clerk position and to become a deputy district attorney.

Congratulations to August, Junajoy, Abigail, Kaitlin, and MacKenzie for their well-deserved positions!
