Pepperdine Caruso Law Community Celebrates Shabbat
The Pepperdine Caruso Law community came together on Friday, February 10, for its first ever large-scale Shabbat dinner. The event brought together students, alumni, faculty, and friends in a celebration of community and friendship. The dinner was made possible through the generous support of the Nootbaar Institute.
Not only did guests enjoy a wonderful meal, but they were also treated to an inspiring talk by Doron Kornbluth, a renowned author and lecturer. Kornbluth shared valuable insights on finding true inner happiness and contentment, inspiring attendees to use these principles in their school years and beyond, as they strive to become successful members of their communities.
Student comments about the celebration included, "I loved this event! It was my first Shabbat dinner and I learned a lot from the experience and enjoyed the food and getting to know people"; "It was very special and exciting for me and I’m sure for others too"; and "Before I arrived here I couldn’t imagine having Shabbat dinner at my school and such a big and beautiful one."
The event was a truly remarkable experience, leaving everyone with a sense of empowerment and inspiration.
