Understanding Patent Litigation with Alumnus Darryl Towell | October 4
Join Pepperdine Caruso School of Law alumnus Darryl Towell (JD ’95) on October 4 for an insider’s view of the world of patent litigation and a preview of the patent litigation class he will be teaching at Pepperdine in the spring. Darryl worked at Jones Day for over ten years, where he specialized in complex patent litigation. In 2006, he founded Docket Navigator, a patent litigation analytics tool used by more than 18,000 patent litigators, corporate legal departments, judges, and academics.
Come join the conversation about marketing yourself and practicing as a patent litigator, as Darryl helps to demystify the world of patent law. (Spoiler: you don't have to have a technical degree for a successful patent litigation career. And you definitely don't need one to attend!)
Lunch will be provided. Classroom A | Oct. 4 | 12:40PM - 1:30PM
