Murat Ozgur (JD/MBA '99) Appointed to Monterey County Bench

Pepperdine Caruso Law alumnus Murat Ozgur (JD/MBA ‘99) has been appointed to serve as a judge in the Monterey County Superior Court. Prior to his appointment, Ozgur served as a deputy district attorney at the Santa Clara County District Attorney’s Office. He previously served as a deputy district attorney at the Marin County District Attorney’s Office, the Monterey County District Attorney’s Office, and at the Humboldt County District Attorney’s Office. Ozgur fills the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Larry Hayes.
