Moments of silence held one week after Paris terrorist attacks
November 20, 2015 -- One week after the attacks that killed over 100 people in France, Dean Tacha invited the Pepperdine Law campus community to pause for a moment of reflection and prayer at 12:20pm, exactly seven days after the attacks began. The monthly staff meeting later in the afternoon also stopped to reflect on the attacks.
Even from over 5000 miles away, the attacks have touched many in and around the Pepperdine Law community. A significant number of Pepperdine Law students are currently studying at the Pepperdine London campus; fourteen Pepperdine University students were in Paris during the attacks; and a non-Pepperdine exchange student from California was among the victims.
