Justin Beck ('13, JD '16) Sworn-In as Assistant United States Attorney for the Northern District of Texas

Pepperdine Caruso Law alumnus Justin Beck ('13, JD '16) was officially sworn-in as an assistant United States attorney at the United States Attorney's Office for the Northern District of Texas. Beck, a graduate of Seaver College (‘13) and Caruso Law (JD ‘16), started his career as a law clerk to Judge W. Keith Watkins (M.D. Ala.) from 2016-17.  He then went on to clerk for Judge Carlos Bea (9th Cir.) from 2017-18.  After finishing his two clerkships, Beck served as an associate at Jones Day from 2018-21.  From 2021-23, he held the position of senior associate at Vinson & Elkins. 

Beck says he is “extremely humbled by the opportunity and excited for this new stage of my career, where I will enjoy the great privilege of representing my country in federal court.”
