Gunnar Gunderson (JD '07) joins One LLP as a partner
November 11, 2015 -- One LLP, an intellectual property, technology, and media firm located in Newport Beach, California, announced that Pepperdine Law alumnus Gunnar Gunderson (JD '07) has joined the firm as a partner.

From high-tech patent disputes to advocating for artists under the Visual Artists Rights Act, Mr. Gundersen has extensive experience with patent, copyright, trade dress, consumer rights litigation, art law and intellectual property consulting.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Gundersen handled high-stakes intellectual property matters at Latham & Watkins LLP, and, prior to that, Irell & Manella LLP. He began his legal career as a law clerk to Judge O'Scannlain on the Ninth Circuit Court.
He has served as a member of several committees and boards, including the Intellectual Property Owners Association's European Practice Committee and the California Patrons of the Arts at the Vatican Museums. He has also been published in several scholarly journals, and is regularly a guest writer and lecturer at various publications and organizations.
Mr. Gundersen obtained his Juris Doctor from Pepperdine University School of Law, where he graduated summa cum laude and as valedictorian, and served as a member of the Pepperdine Law Review. He received his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Southern California. In 2015, he received the Master's Certificate from the Academy of American Legal Writers, the highest national standard of excellence in legal writing, and earned the Jackson Achievement Award for his work in the program.
