Straus Adjunct Professor Brian Beecher (JD/MDR ‘05) Presents "Exploring Personal Injury Mediation: A Plaintiff's Perspective"

On April 3, Pepperdine Caruso Law alumnus and Straus adjunct professor Brian Beecher (JD '05, MDR ‘16) shared with Caruso Law students his expertise and insight in the presentation, "Exploring Personal Injury Mediation: A Plaintiff's Perspective." Beecher, a partner and the litigation department chair for the personal injury and class action practice at Arash Law, recently won a remarkable $41.95M verdict in a Riverside jury trial.

Beecher's presentation gave students a glimpse into the intricacies of high-stakes personal injury litigation. He shared firsthand accounts of the strategies he employed, the challenges he faced, and the ultimate triumph in securing a favorable outcome for his clients. Beecher credited his expertise in mediation and negotiation through his Straus Institute Master's in Dispute Resolution degree as being invaluable in navigating the complexities of the case.

The event was well received and the Caruso Law students appreciated Beecher's insights and practical advice.
