Dean Paul Caron Moderates "Democracy and Division: Are There Core Values We Can Agree Upon?" -- Association of American Law Schools Deans Forum

When they agreed in October to moderate a discussion among law school deans on "Democracy and Division: Are There Core Values We Can Agree Upon?" as part of the Deans Forum at the Association of American Law Schools Annual Meeting on January 8, Dean Caron and SUNY-Buffalo Dean Aviva Abramovsky had no way of knowing that the discussion would take place 48 hours after a violent protest at the U.S.Capitol. During the 50-minute discussion, the law deans shared the core values of their law schools in light of the protests.

Dean Caron conveyed Pepperdine Caruso Law's long commitment to excellence and faith, including in recent months a focus on justice, kindness, and humility as reflected in Micah 6:8.
