Clinical Law Program Remote Justice Bus Trip
Current students: please join us for a Justice Bus Trip at home! Instead of taking a bus to assist clients, the Clinical Law Program is partnering with OneJustice and California Rural Legal Assistance (CRLA) to provide a free remote criminal record expungement clinic for veterans and low-income Californians in need online.
No prior expungement experience is necessary to participate. Volunteers will receive training and work on completing paperwork in advance of the clinic (August 6th), with support from CRLA staff. At the clinic itself, volunteers will be scheduled to meet with participants to finalize the documents and help draft declarations.
Training and services will take place on the following dates:
- Lunchtime training (12 - 1:30 PM): Monday, July 27th
- Office hours available for assistance from CRLA with preparing paperwork for clients (11 am - 1 PM): Tuesday, July 28th - Friday, July 31st
- Clinic (10 AM - 2 PM; you will be assigned an appointment time within this time frame): Thursday, August 6th
The deadline to sign up is Friday, July 24.
Limited to 10 spaces. Please email kellie.kamimoto@pepperdine.edu to reserve your spot or ask questions.
