Adjunct Professor and Director of the Faith and Mediation Clinic Sarah M. Nissel presented "Conflict Resolution is Judaism: Lessons Learned from a Family Law Mediator" at UCLA School of Law on October 26. The presentation covered conflicts that arise in marriages in general and in Jewish relationships specifically and what tools can be implemented to avoid disputes and to resolve inevitable conflicts within relationships. It also covered laws surrounding Jewish marriage contracts and the role of the Jewish courts in resolving end of marriage issues.
