Career Development for Alumni
Individualized Career Counseling
We are available throughout the year for one-on-one counseling sessions. We will point you towards useful resources, review your resume, and work with you to develop a job hunt strategy. Please contact Nicole LeBlanc at nicole.leblanc@pepperdine.edu for assistance.
Use of Career Services Offices at Other Law Schools (Reciprocity)
If you have moved away and would like access to another law school's career resources, we will send a letter to that school requesting for reciprocity. Note: Reciprocity is often unavailable during the fall recruiting season.
Online Alumni Directory
Your fellow alumni can be fantastic resources to learn more about specific practice areas, geographic markets, or even alternative careers. Connect with your classmates and others through our online Alumni Directory.
PeppConnect
In this unique virtual community, Pepperdine alumni, faculty, staff, and parents have made themselves available to offer the exact resources you're looking for in one convenient location.
Resources and Tools
Please feel free to use all the research tools that are available to our current students or contact us with any additional questions you may have.
Alumni Getting Involved
Pepperdine's greatest career resources are its alumni. Students are eager to learn more about particular practice areas and markets and alumni are a great resource for these students. If you are interested in getting involved please contact our office at 310.506.4634. Below is a list of just a few ways in which you can get involved:
-
Hire a Pepperdine Student
If you have a legal position, whether for summer, school-term or post-graduate, attend our on-campus recruiting programs or post the position online to our students and alumni. Email cdo@pepperdine.edu to post a job. -
Volunteer to Conduct Mock Interviews
Alumni are always needed to return to Pepperdine to give students feedback on their interview skills. If you are interested, contact our office at (310) 506.4634. -
Participate on Career Panels
Throughout the year, CDO schedules panels and presentations on a variety of practice areas and career-related issues and we are always looking for alumni to share their expertise and unique perspectives. The panels vary from year to year, but if you have particular areas of focus and would be willing to speak, please contact our office at (310) 506.4634.
