Tiffany Monroe (JD '99) Named Chief People Officer at H&R Block

March 21, 2018 | Pepperdine Law alumna Tiffany Scalzitti Monroe (JD '99) has been named by H&R Block, Inc., as its new chief people officer. Monroe was recognized for her innovation and talent development.

Monroe will assume responsibility for all human resources functions, such as organizational and performance management, talent development, and ensuring the workforce has both the people and organizational capabilities to enable and ultimately deliver company strategy. Her responsibilities include on- and off-boarding Block's tax season workforce of nearly 80,000 tax professionals.

There's no job more important than ensuring our people have the skills, capabilities and developmental opportunities to do their best work," said Jeff Jones, H&R Block president & chief executive officer. Monroe holds a bachelor of arts degree from Indiana University and a juris doctor degree from Pepperdine University School of Law.
