Professor Sukhsimranjit Singh has been appointed the new Managing Director of the Straus Institute.
Professor Singh came to the Institute in 2016 as an Associate Director of the Institute
and Director of the LL.M. program. He brought with him nearly a decade of teaching
and administrative experience as the founding Associate Director of Willamette School
of Law's Center for Dispute Resolution, where he ran the LL.M. program and also taught
at the school of management. He is an excellent trainer, teacher and mediator. Singh
will now take on expanded responsibilities, managing the day-to-day operations of
Straus and joining the leadership team.
Singh will be taking over the role previously held by Professor Peter Robinson, who
recently stepped down as Managing Director of the Straus Institute after serving in
administrative capacities for 27 years. Peter played a major role in furthering Straus's
programs and reputation. He looks forward to returning to a full-time faculty role
while also continuing to be engaged with Straus's vaunted training programs and partnerships
with other institutions here and abroad.
Please join us in congratulating Professors Robinson and Singh.
