Rachel Enders and Andrew Porth Participate in International Commercial Mediation Competition
Pepperdine Caruso Law students Rachel Enders (3L) and Andrew Porth (2L) participated in the International Commercial Mediation Competition hosted by Bucerius Law School, Hamburg, Germany. The competition was entirely online this year, and gathered students from over 22 law schools and over 40 mediation professionals around the world. The Caruso Law team, Andrew in Tennessee and Rachel in California, competed in mediation sessions with counterparts from Marburg University, Germany; Queens University in Belfast, Ireland; and finalist University of California, Hastings.
Faculty coach Professor Maureen Weston was immensely proud of the team's performance. Many thanks go to second-year law students and sparring partners Nicholas McLaughlin and Ora Zarnegar, and to ICC Mediation Competition alumni Jacob Martin and Austin McKee (2019) for assisting students in practice sessions.
