Professor Sukhsimranjit Singh Presents Graduation Speech and "The Role of Culture in International ADR" for Judiciary of Uganda Graduation Ceremony

Professor Sukhsimranjit Singh presented the graduation speech and "The Role of Culture in International ADR" at the 2024 Master's in Dispute Resolution graduation ceremony of the Ugandan judiciary in Kampala, Uganda. The graduates included Supreme Court Justices and representatives of the legal profession at the highest levels, including the Minister of Justice for the Republic of Uganda. Ugandan vice president Alupo Jessica and Pepperdine University vice president Danny DeWalt presided over the graduation ceremony, which was further graced by Ugandan traditional dances.

The ceremony was the first international graduation for Pepperdine University and for Pepperdine Caruso Law as the students received their degrees in Master's in Dispute Resolution from the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution. Also attending the ceremony were Pepperdine representatives Cameron McCollum, Michael Thomas, and Straus adjunct faculty Catherine A. Rogers and Alana Knaster.
