Professor Sukhsimranjit Singh Facilitates City Mobility Policy Forum in Beverly Hills

On December 6, Professor Sukhsimranjit Singh facilitated a virtual Community Meeting for the City of Beverly Hills, as it shared its Complete Streets Plan with residents and stakeholders. Professor Singh enabled the participants to build consensus on issues raised during the public outreach process before taking the plan forward to City Council.

Excerpt the Beverly Hills Press on the event:

The Draft Complete Streets Plan is a mobility policy plan that includes a comprehensive analysis of pedestrian, bicycle, street networks and emerging transportation modes and technologies. Once final, it will provide a council-approved work plan for transportation planning projects to improve mobility, help prepare for emerging technologies, prioritize first/last mile improvements to the Metro Purple Line stations and increase grant funding Eligibility.

Professor Singh previously worked with the city to successfully facilitate meetings for the rent stabilization program.
