Professor Stephanie Blondell Appointed as Co-Chair of AALS Clinical ADR Committee
Professor Stephanie Blondell became the co-chair of the Clinical ADR Committee of the Association of American Law Schools (AALS). The ADR Committee is part of the AALS's Section on Clinical Legal Education, which promotes the communication of ideas, interests and activities among members of the section and makes recommendations on matters concerning clinical legal education. Her colleague Toby Guerin, from Carey School of Law at the University of Maryland serves as the other co-chair of the committee.
During COVID-19, Professor Blondell has also been facilitating a think-tank of Mediation Clinicians making the transition to the online environment, dubbed the New Normal ADR Clinician Think Tank. The group regularly convenes clinical ADR faculty across the United States to discuss best practices in virtual clinical pedagogy.
