Professor Chris Chambers Goodman Participates in European Law Institute Conference in Vienna

Professor Christine Chambers Goodman participated in the annual European Law Institute Conference and Meetings held in Vienna, Austria on September 6-8.  The European Law Institute (ELI) is partly modeled on the American Law Institute, which was founded in 1923 and has since become a landmark institution in the American legal system. Like its American counterpart, ELI aims to unite jurists of the highest standing from all branches and professions of the law. As a newly elected member of the American Law Institute, and a new resident of Switzerland, Professor Goodman was thrilled to interact with colleagues from around the world.

The American contingent at the conference included American Constitution Society executive director Zinelle October, former Senator and American Constitution Society president Russ Feingold, and Wisconsin chapter member Tim Burns (pictured with Professor Goodman).
