Price Family Celebrates Fifth Pepperdine Law Graduate
May 31, 2018 | This year's Commencement Ceremony marked a very special milestone for the Price family when Catherine, the fifth and final member of their immediate family, received her Juris Doctorate degree from Pepperdine Law. The Price family is the only family in the history of the law school to have all three children and both parents graduate from Pepperdine Law.
The Price family alumni include: parents Sheri (JD '80) and Richard ''Craig'' (JD '80) Price, daughter Jennifer Price Taton (JD '12), son Bryan Price (JD '13), and daughter Catherine Price (JD '18). Catherine's graduation on May 18 was made even more memorable in that all five members of the family were able to attend and celebrate the occasion.
Senior Vice Chancellor & School of Law Dean Emeritus Ron Phillips, who has stayed in touch with the Price family over the years, remarked, "The Price family has honored Pepperdine Law by seeing to it that no one missed the unique experience of studying law here. Many Pepperdine families have benefited by the fact that Sheri's parents founded Oaks Christian School. Three of my grandchildren are graduates, and another is currently a freshman there. Craig and Sheri met each other in college, where they were seated alphabetically in a class. Craig Price sat next to Sheri Price, who, upon her marriage, became Sheri Price Price."
Congratulations to Catherine on her graduation and the Price family on reaching this important milestone! We honor your dedication and commitment to your alma mater.
