Pepperdine Law Review Publishes Volume 51, Issue 1
The Pepperdine Law Review is proud to announce that Volume 51, Issue 1 is published on Digital Commons. The issue features two articles: "Judicial Fidelity" by Caprice L. Roberts, and "A Haven for Traffickers: How the United States Provides a Legal Safe Haven for Businesses That Rely on Forced Labor in the International Supply Chain" by Ramona Lampley.
The issue also includes two comments written by recent Pepperdine Caruso Law graduates Jeremy Cohen and Junajoy Vinoya Frianeza: "Give or Take—Is the Droit De Suite a Taking Without Just Compensation?" by Jeremy Cohen, and "The Angel Wears Prada, the Devil Buys It on The RealReal: Expanding Trademark Rights Beyond the First Sale Doctrine" by Junajoy Vinoya Frianeza.
The Pepperdine Law Review awarded Jeremy Cohen the 2023 Ronald M. Sorenson Memorial Writing Award, presented to the member of the law review who submits the most well-written, thoroughly researched, and intellectually engaging comment or note.
