Pepperdine Caruso Law Welcomes The Honourable Society of the Middle Temple
On September 8, Pepperdine Caruso Law renewed a tradition of welcoming The Honourable Society of the Middle Temple for a moot court friendly. Caruso Law students participate in a moot court with Middle Temple every fall in the London program, then every other year at the Caruso Law campus. This year, the moot rounds were on the same day as the death of Queen Elizabeth II, so the student participants honored her life and their national mourning together.
Christa Richmond, Director of Education at Middle Temple, and Professor Matthew Weait of Oxford University, led the delegation from London. Caruso Law students Jackson Grasz and Taylor Conley argued with Middle Temple students, Afiya Amesu, Matthew Kingswell, Ellen Dean, and James Sinclair. Professor Weait, Professor Tanya Cooper, and Associate Dean Jeff Baker judged the rounds.
