Pepperdine Caruso Law Announces the FROST LLP and Frost Hassid Advisors Dress for Success Suit Stipend Program
Pepperdine Caruso Law is pleased to announce the FROST LLP and Frost Hassid Advisors Dress for Success Suit Stipend Program. The Caruso Law Suit Stipend Program was founded in 2019 by Career Development Office director Alexis Joyce, with the support of dean Paul Caron, as a way to gather resources to assist law students in purchasing suits for their first professional interviews or jobs. The program will now be fully endowed by FROST LLP and Frost Hassid Advisors.
The founding name partner of FROST LLP, Caruso Law alumnus Christopher Frost (JD '98), and chief operating officer Candice Hassid were inspired by the program and agreed that no law student should be held back by a lack of financial means. Ms. Hassid turned these values into action by working closely with the Caruso Law team on a plan to support the Caruso Law program, creating the endowment to fund the FROST LLP and Frost Hassid Advisors Dress for Success Suit Stipend Program.
“The Caruso School of Law has had a significant impact on my career, from providing me with a strong legal education to creating a community where I teach and connect with the next generation of lawyers who become colleagues and peers," said Frost. "Our talented Caruso Law graduates must all have the same opportunities to succeed in their legal careers, and I'm proud that FROST LLP's chief operating officer, Candice Hassid, has proactively worked with the Caruso Law team to ensure our long-term support of this essential program."
"With the Suit Stipend Program, the Caruso School of Law shows true commitment to its outstanding students regardless of the resources they have at the start of their careers," said Hassid. "It's important to us at FROST LLP to grow this program as it assists up-and-coming lawyers and increases diversity in the legal profession."
